2021 Honda Accord in Meridian, MS
In the world of midsize sedans, very few models have accomplished as much or garnered as much independent expert praise as the Honda Accord. According to the automaker, when the 2021 Honda Accord in Meridian, MS arrives at the Meridian Honda showroom it will offer, ‘upgraded styling, tech and safety features,’ on all trim grades. For the new model year, the 2021 Honda Accord eliminates the manual transmission from the powertrain lineup, in addition to shuffling the sedan’s trim ladder. Buyers will be able to choose among six 2021 Accord trims, LX, Sport, Sport Special Edition, EX-L, Sport 2.0T and Touring 2.0T. The hybrid version also picks up some upgrades, but it will be profiled separately by the dealership. Independent reviews have praised the 2021 Accord for its powerful and efficient engine lineup, upscale cabin with a lot of passenger space and engaging handling.
One of the most exciting changes made to the 2021 Honda Accord is the expansion of the automaker’s connectivity options. For the first time since Honda has been offering smartphone integration, all 2021 Accord trim grades will be equipped with access to the Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ suites of applications, as well as an 8-inch Display Audio touchscreen interface. Buyers choosing the EX-L, Sport 2.0T or Touring 2.0T trims will have wireless access to both suites of smartphone apps. Additionally, those same trims are equipped with wireless smartphone charging. The top-of-the-line Touring 2.0T model is the sedan’s lone trim that is equipped with the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ with Voice Recognition and Honda HD Digital Traffic. Given how much more people are going to be employing their devices while in the 2021 Honda Accord, the front-mounted USB charging ports have been repositioned for easier access.
There are a pair of engine options for customers to consider when they’re outfitting their 2021 Accord. The LX, Sport, Sport Special Edition and EX-L will employ a turbocharged 1.5-liter, inline four-cylinder engine, making 192 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque. The Sport 2.0T and Touring 2.0T trims use turbocharged 2.0-liter, inline four-cylinder engine that will make 252 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque.
Honda designers have provided one of the most passenger-friendly interiors in the midsize sedan class. As many as five passengers can fit comfortably in the 2021 Accord. All models will offer 42.3 inches of legroom to the driver and front passenger. People sitting in the rear seat will have up to 40.4 inches to stretch their legs.
