2021 Honda Pilot vs. 2021 Nissan Pathfinder
There is a lot of competition to be found within the three-row crossover SUV class of the global automotive industry. Meridian Honda is home to a wide range of Honda crossover SUVs, including the latest version of the automaker’s three-row model, the Honda Pilot. This is such a competitive segment that a comparison between the 2021 Honda Pilot vs. 2021 Nissan Pathfinder will likely be very helpful to customers getting their feet wet in this class for the first time. Both vehicles offer evenly matched V-6 engines as standard equipment, but the 2021 Pilot is able to accommodate an additional passenger and more interior cargo volume. Honda offers the 2021 Pilot in seven trim grades, LX, EX, EX-L, Special Edition, Touring, Elite and Black Edition.

Interior space is what attracts potential buyers to vehicles like the 2021 Honda Pilot or the 2021 Nissan Pathfinder. While both platforms have three rows of space, only the 2021 Pilot can be equipped with seven- or eight-passenger configurations. The Pathfinder only offers spots for seven people. The eight-passenger 2021 Pilot models include the LX, EX, EX-L and Special Edition. Elite and Black Edition versions will hold seven people. Buyers choosing the Touring trim will be able to choose which configuration they would like to have. A 2021 Pilot at full passenger capacity will still have 16.5 cubic-feet of cargo volume to offer, with the Pathfinder offering almost the same number. The Honda crossover offers 46.8 cubic-feet, which is about a half cubic-foot less than the Pathfinder. When the 2021 Honda Pilot is properly equipped, it can offer up to 83.9 cubic-feet of cargo volume, easily eclipsing the 79.5 cubic-feet available with the 2021 Pathfinder.

The 2021 Nissan Pathfinder uses a slightly more powerful V-6 engine that will also be able to tow slightly more than the 2021 Pilot.
