2021 Honda Odyssey vs. 2020 Toyota Sienna
In terms of overall interior volume, capability and standard equipment, there are not many vehicles on the market that can go toe-to-toe with the latest version of the Honda Odyssey. For the 2021 model year, our manufacturing partner has put its minivan through a mild style refreshing and updated many systems to make the vehicle more family-friendly. A comparison between the 2021 Honda Odyssey vs. 2020 Toyota Sienna will pull the upgrades Honda has made to its minivan platform into even tighter focus. To be sure, the two minivans are closely matched in several ways. However, the 2021 Odyssey does offer some more interesting features like CabinTalk® and CabinWatch®, which do not have direct equivalents in the Toyota vehicle. Customers can start the pre-ordering process for the 2021 Honda Odyssey today by calling, 601-693-4651.
The 2021 Honda Odyssey is available in five trim grades, LX, EX, EX-L, Touring and Elite. Both the 2021 Odyssey and 2020 Sienna are available in seven- and eight-passenger configurations. However, owners of the 2021 Odyssey can make a strong argument for having a more flexible interior than those who may choose the 2020 Sienna. When the two minivans are holding the maximum number of people, each model has very similar cargo volume dimensions. However, when all of the seats are stowed for maximum cargo-hauling capability, the 2021 Odyssey will have up to 144.9 cubic-feet (LX, EX) and 140.7 cubic-feet (EX-L, Touring, Elite). All 2020 Sienna versions can only offer up 117.8 cubic-feet. Additionally, the CabinTalk® and CabinWatch® systems can work together to help drivers listen to and keep an eye on what is happening in the backseat.

Every 2021 Honda Odyssey that will be available at the Meridian Honda showroom will have the same powertrain setup. A naturally aspirated 3.5-liter, V-6 engine will be under the hood that is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. It will produce 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. All 2020 Odyssey models will be able to tow up to 3,500 pounds. Additionally, the 2021 Odyssey will be able to record 19 miles per gallon* in the city and 28 miles per gallon* on the highway. On the other hand, the 2020 Toyota Sienna uses a V-6 engine of its own, which does make slightly more power. However, the Sienna has the same towing capacity across the board as the 2021 Odyssey in addition to offering very similar fuel economy scores.
