Meridian Honda customers can choose among six trim grades for the 2021 Accord, LX, Sport, Sport Special Edition, EX-L, Sport 2.0T and Touring 2.0T. The 2021 Accord is able to offer more trunk space than its Nissan competitor and the two available Honda engines make more power than the corresponding power plants for the Altima. Honda is equipping the LX, Sport, Sport Special Edition and EX-L with a turbocharged 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine attached to a continuously variable transmission. It will make 192 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque. Buyers choosing the Sport 2.0T or Touring 2.0T models will have a turbocharged 2.0-liter, four-cylinder mill under the hood that is attached to a 10-speed automatic transmission. These models will produce 252 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. The base engine available with the 2021 Nissan Altima will be a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter, four-cylinder mated to a CVT of its own, making 188 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. Altima buyers can also choose a turbocharged 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that will make up to 248 horsepower when it’s filled with premium gasoline.

Available Connectivity Technology

The 2021 Honda Accord is the first time all six trim grades will be equipped with the automaker’s smartphone-compatible infotainment system. Every 2021 Accord offers access to both the Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ suites of applications. Our manufacturing partner has added wireless connectivity for the smartphone integration capability. This capability is available with the 2021 Nissan Altima. However, buyers going this route will have to choose upper trim grades to get this capability. Additionally, the entire 2021 Accord lineup will be outfitted with the Honda Sensing® suite that will include Lane Keeping Assist System, Adaptive Cruise Control and Traffic Sign Recognition System.
