Performance Specs

Every 2020 Honda HR-V available at Meridian Honda is outfitted with a naturally aspirated 1.8-liter, four-cylinder engine attached to a continuously variable transmission. Each trim grade is rated to make 141 horsepower and 127 pound-feet of torque. According to the automaker, versions of the 2020 HR-V with two-wheel-drive will be able to record 28 miles per gallon* in the city and 34 miles per gallon8 on the highway. Models with all-wheel-drive, like the Sport, EX, EX-L and Touring can post 26 mpg* in the city and 31 mpg* on the highway. The base LX model with all-wheel-drive records 27 mpg* in the city and 31 mpg* on the highway.

On the other side of the equation, the 2020 Kia Soul uses a base engine similar to that found with the Honda HR-V. However, the Soul will make a little bit more power, but it won’t be able to match the Honda crossover SUV’s fuel economy scores. The Kia Soul is also not available with all-wheel-drive.
