Which 2021 Honda Passport trims have Honda Sensing®?
The Honda Passport was built to be just as at home commuting to work, running daily errands or getting dirty on muddy trails. Because our manufacturing partner did such a good job developing the Passport into one of its most flexible platforms, it’s very common to see people using it as a family vehicle – which means buyers are going to be concerned with safety features. So, which 2021 Honda Passport trims have Honda Sensing®? Honda offers the 2021 Passport in four trim grades, Sport, EX-L, Touring and Elite. All of them are equipped with the full Honda Sensing® suite of active driver assistance features. Let’s take a closer look at a few things you should know.

What does Honda Sensing® do?
Collision Mitigation Braking System™ — Accidents can happen in the blink of an eye, sometimes too fast for people to respond to. The Collision Mitigation Braking System™ will automatically activate the vehicle’s braking system when the computer finds a collision is unavoidable.
Road Departure Mitigation System — When a vehicle inadvertently leaves its intended lane of travel, a lot of bad things can happen – especially on crowded highways. Road Departure Mitigation will let a driver know if their vehicle starts to drift out of the lane and it can provide some steering assistance to get back into the lane. Additionally, it can apply the brakes to prevent the vehicle from leaving the road altogether.
The Lane Departure Warning system is a part of the Road Departure Mitigation System and it will provide a warning light on the instrument panel as well as an audible warning for the driver to take corrective action from drifting out of their lane.
Forward Collision Warning — There is a lot going on in and around a vehicle at any given time. Forward Collision Warning will provide visual and audio warnings to get the driver to look ahead of the vehicle to respond to a potentially dangerous situation. The system will even tell the driver when to apply the brakes if the vehicle is approaching the traffic ahead too quickly.
