The 2020 Honda Civic Coupe offers four trim grades, LX, Sport, EX and Touring. Buyers choosing the 2020 Civic Sedan will be able to choose among LX, Sport, EX, EX-L and Touring models. In terms of powertrains, the sedan and coupe wearing the LX and Sport trims will be equipped with a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine making 158 horsepower and 138 pound-feet of torque. LX models will be attached to a continuously variable transmission and the Sport version offers a six-speed manual or the previously mentioned CVT.
Buyers looking for more performance will want to pay close attention to the EX, EX-L and Touring models. These versions employ a turbocharged 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine attached to a CVT that will make 174 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. Some trims of both body styles will also be using a six-speed manual which will make 167 pound-feet of torque.
Connectivity and Safety Technology
Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® will be integrated into the infotainment systems on the 2020 Honda Civic Sport and higher trims of the sedan and coupe models. Safety continues to be a top priority for the automaker and its compact sedan/coupe platform. Honda Sensing® is now standard on all 2020 Civic models that are coming to the Meridian Honda showroom.
