New Connectivity Technology Availability
For the first time since smartphone integration has been available, every trim of the 2021 Honda Accord will offer access to the Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ suites of applications. However, for the new model year, Honda has changed the game a little and made wireless connectivity to the two app platforms possible in the EX-L, Sport 2.0T and Touring 2.0T. Those same trim grades also offer a tray to wirelessly charge smartphones.
The 2021 Honda Accord Touring 2.0 is also equipped with a heads-up display that will show a compass and the status of several onboard systems.
Honda is ensuring that the 2021 Accord is one of the most powerful sedans in its class. The LX, Sport, Sport Special Edition and EX-L models will have a turbocharged 1.5-liter, inline four-cylinder engine under the hood that will make 192 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque. Buyers choosing the Sport 2.0T and Touring 2.0T models will get a turbocharged 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that produces 252 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque.
