Honda starts delivery of the 2020 Passport to dealerships around the country

Release Date for the 2020 Honda Passport
When the first version of the Honda Passport arrived at the Meridian Honda, it represented a new platform for crossover SUV buyers to consider that offered a lot of power, interior space and overall capability. When the release date for the 2020 Honda Passport arrives, Meridian Honda customers will be getting the latest version of all of those things as well as a great array of connectivity technology. Since this is just the second year of production for the Passport, the automaker hasn’t made many changes to the rugged crossover SUV but that doesn’t mean potential buyers shouldn’t make an appointment with one of our product experts today to learn more now that the automaker has started shipping the 2020 Passport to dealerships.

Just like the previous version, the 2020 Honda Passport is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter, V-6 engine that is attached to a nine-speed automatic transmission. It will make 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. All trim grades (Sport, EX-L, Touring and Elite) use the same powertrain. The Sport, EX-L and Touring versions can be equipped with front- or all-wheel-drive, depending on customer preference. The top of the line Elite model is only available with all-wheel-drive.
Front-wheel-drive models of the 2020 Passport will be able to tow 3,500 pounds with all-wheel-drive models have a towing capacity of 5,000 pounds.
Cargo Volume/Passenger Space
When the 2020 Honda Passports arrives at Meridian Honda, owners will still be able to use the vehicle’s highly adaptable interior. It’s two rows of seats can safely and comfortably hold up to five passengers. Legroom dimensions will be generous for everyone. With as many as three rear passengers riding in the 2020 Passport, owners will still be able to use up to 41.2 cubic-feet of cargo volume. Folding the seats down will give drivers of the Sport model 77.9 cubic-feet to use; up to 77.7 cubic-feet in the EX-L and Touring models, with 77.5 cubic-feet available in the Elite trim.
