Honda has standardized the powertrain availability for the 2020 CR-V. All trim grades will employ a turbocharged, 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that is attached to a continuously variable transmission. Now that all versions of the popular Honda crossover SUVs use the same engine and transmission combination, each of them will make 190 horsepower. Owners will be able to choose between front- and all-wheel-drive versions of the 2020 CR-V.
New technology available
When the 2020 Honda CR-V is finally available for sale or lease at the Meridian Honda showroom, each and every model will be equipped with a full suite of Honda Sensing® technology. This makes features like Collision Mitigation Braking System™ with Forward Collision Warning and pedestrian sensing, Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control and Lake Keeping Assist all standard equipment. The automaker also makes blind spot information, Rear Cross Traffic Monitor and Auto High Beam available on certain trims.
Additionally, the interior of all 2020 Honda CR-V models will have a redesigned center console for easier and more flexible storage solutions. Future owners who pick the 2020 CR-V Touring will also have a Qi-compatible wireless smartphone charging tray.
