The Honda class of 2021 has already started to arrive at the Meridian Honda showroom. So far, we have received the latest versions of the Passport, Pilot and Odyssey. Our team of product experts believes that the Honda HR-V subcompact crossover SUV will be the next new model to arrive. The new features for the 2021 Honda HR-V will help the vehicle meet the needs of its owners as well as its expanded role, filling in for the recently departed Honda Fit hatchback. Meridian Honda customers will be able to choose among four trim grades, LX, Sport, EX and EX-L. For the new model year, the 2021 Honda HR-V will feature new wheel designs on the Sport, EX and EX-L trims. Additionally, the Sport trim will also add privacy glass to its list of standard features. Beyond that, the 2021 HR-V will remain largely unchanged.
The HR-V platform was designed to be nimble and efficient for navigating crowded city streets. The 2021 Honda HR-V will have a naturally aspirated 1.8-liter, inline four-cylinder engine under the hood that will be attached to a continuously variable transmission. It will make 141 horsepower and 127 pound-feet of torque. Front- and all-wheel-drive are available on all four trim grades.
Versions of the 2021 HR-V with front-wheel-drive will be able to record 28 miles per gallon* in the city and the 34 miles per gallon* on the highway. The 2021 HR-V LX with all-wheel-drive can post 27 mpg* in the city and 31 mpg* on the highway; buyers choosing any other trim grade of the vehicle will be able to expect 26 mpg* in the city and 31 mph on the highway.
