Most Honda HUD functions will be controlled via the driver side control panel. Drivers will be able to turn the HUD on and off by pressing the aptly labeled ‘HUD’ button. In order to adjust the height of the display projected on the windshield, drivers can press the button immediately next to the HUD button with the arrows on it. Pressing the up arrow will raise the HUD’s information on the windshield and pressing the down arrow will perform the opposite function.
What information does the Honda HUD show?
The bulk of the information shown by the Honda HUD will be centered around the automaker’s suite of active safety systems, including Honda Sensing®. Additionally, options are available for drivers to be able to view a digital tachometer, current gear selection and the vehicle’s speed. Vehicles with an integrated navigation system will also be able to be projected on the Honda HUD. A driver can select the information that is displayed on the HUD by pressing the HUD button located on the vehicle’s steering wheel.
