Does the 2020 Honda Fit have Honda Sensing®?
In an automotive marketplace, the Honda Fit is a bit of throwback, taking the form of a wagon platform. Honda has been sticking with the Fit to give customers an affordable and capable new vehicle option. Now that the manufacturer has published some new details, we can finally answer the question, ‘Does the 2020 Honda Fit have Honda Sensing®?’ Meridian Honda customers will be able to see the small wagon in four trims, LX, Sport, EX and EX-L. People who want to have the protections offered by the suite of active safety systems will need to choose either the EX or EX-L models. Our team thought that people would want to know as much as possible about the new Fit. Let’s take a look at what they found.

Honda Sensing® Features
As it applies to the 2020 Honda Fit (EX or EX-L), the available Honda Sensing® system is a four-part suite of safety monitors that covers much of the area around a vehicle. Versions of the 2020 Fit with Honda Sensing® will get Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Collision Mitigation Braking System™ and Road Departure Mitigation System.
While all four trim grades of the 2020 Honda Fit will use the same engine, a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter, four-cylinder, there are a couple of transmission options that will affect performance. The LX and Sport trims can be equipped with either a six-speed manual or a continuously variable transmission. Buyers choosing the EX and EX-L models will only get the CVT. Models of the vehicle with the manual will make 130 horsepower and 114 pound-feet of torque, with the CVT helping the 2020 Fit produce 128 horsepower and 113 pound-feet of torque.
Cargo Volume Dimensions
The 2020 Honda Fit still offers a wagon-style layout. However, its unique dimensions allow it to compete with compact crossover SUVs in terms of cargo volume. When there are people sitting in the vehicle’s backseat, there will be 16.6 cubic-feet of cargo volume to use. Owners can also fold the rear seat down to make up to 52.7 cubic-feet available to haul cargo.
