How does the 2019 Honda Pilot EX compare to the EX-L trim?

Since it’s a step up in the lineup, it’s no surprise that the Pilot EX-L is a bit more expensive. The EX-L trim also happens to have a few extra features that are not available on the Pilot EX. Not to say the EX trim isn’t impressive! Each of these Pilot models certainly has a lot to offer the modern driver. In addition to the elements mentioned in the table, the EX-L also comes with the HomeLink® remote system, an automatic-dimming rearview mirror, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.
Similarities between the 2019 Honda Pilot EX and EX-L
Moving on to some of their key similarities… both the 2019 Honda Pilot EX and EX-L trims are equipped with a 280-horsepower V6 engine that can deliver 262 lb-ft of torque. The engine in both models is paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission and standard front-wheel drive, though all-wheel drive is available for both.
