2018 Easter Egg Hunts and Events in Meridian, MS
Spring is approaching fast, and Easter is already around the corner! The city of Meridian is always bustling with fun things to do around the holidays, and Easter is no exception. Here at Meridian Honda, we take pride in being part of our community, so we always make sure to keep our blog updated with local happenings to help raise awareness and encourage community participation. One of the best parts of Easter is hunting for goodies at local Easter egg hunts! Come and have big fun with friends and neighbors at one of two Easter egg hunts hosted by the city of Meridian. The first hunt will be held at James Chaney Park and will start at 10 A.M. The second hunt will be held at Sowashee Park and will start at 1 P.M.

The annual Highland Park Easter Egg Hunt is one of the city’s favorite holiday events. Sponsored by Meridian Park and Recreation and Walmart, this massive hunt features 4,000 hidden eggs! There will be gold and silver prizes for the hunt, as well as candy, balloons, and carousel rides. The age groups are as follows: 3-4 year-olds, 5-7 year-olds, and 8-10 year-olds.

Although this event isn’t Easter related, the Threefoot Arts Festival is still a popular community event to celebrate Spring. The premier art festival in the East Mississippi/West Alabama area, the Threefoot Arts Festival features top artists, fine crafts, live music, activities for kids, and the famous Threefoot Bloody Mary.
